Actions to Take this Week

On June 3 the House of Representatives passed H. Con. Res. 86 directing the President to remove US Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran. The measure passed 215-208 with every Democrat voting for it, and 4 Republicans. But we’re not done yet. The measure still has to get through the Senate. Contact your senators and let them know your thoughts! Read more about the disastrous war with Iran here.
Massive funding has poured into ICE and Border Patrol, giving them the resources to expand their detention and deportation operations. As a result people are being kept in horrifying conditions, leading to the conflict at the Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark, NJ.
