It’s our Spring kick-off. Join us for music with the Freedom Strummers, plus snacks and drinks. Bring your signs for democracy amid the honks of passing traffic in a show of solidarity. Come join us!

Tuesday April 22nd, 11-12:30—Postcard Campaign @ Hillsdale Mall Food Court
Join us in supporting Democratic candidates in swing districts! We’ll be in the Food Court at the Hillsdale Mall at the tables by the windows facing the plaza. Stop by to write postcards on the spot or take a set home with you to complete and send later.

Friday May 1, 5-6:30PM—May Day Protest @ Jefferson & El Camino Redwood City
Alongside the national day of economic disruption—no school, no work, no shopping—we’re joining Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) National and local Indivisible chapters for a rally at Jefferson & El Camino (in front of Whole foods). Community leaders will kick off the program at 5:00 PM, followed by the rally. Sign up here.

End the Illegal War on Iran
Despite Republicans’ push back, more War Power votes are happening this week. Enough is enough, Congress must end this unauthorized war Now!

Support Save Our Forests Act of 2025
Trump announced a ‘restructuring” of U.S. Forest Service with 193 million acres of America’s public lands facing unprecedented attacks. This bill restores and increases U.S. Service staffing to maintain forest health and mitigate risks like forest fires.

Oppose Reauthorizing Section 702
This law has been used to search Americans’ data without warrants, and new AI tools could dramatically expand that surveillance. Section 702 cannot be reauthorized without significant reform.

Push to invoke the 25th Amendment. 50 House Democrats introduced a bill to create a commission to assess Trump’s fitness for office, using a provision in the 25th Amendment that bypasses JD Vance and the Cabinet. Tell Congress to keep pushing this forward. Trump is unfit and needs to be removed.
